Living a Life that Hallows God's Name

A committed follower of Jesus looks like a worshiper. God is looking for worshipers.

By our nature as creatures of the flesh, we're unable to use our words to hallow God's name. By our nature as creatures of the flesh, we don't hallow His name with our worship because we don't worship Him.

Our nature as creatures of the flesh prohibits us from hallowing God's name. To hallow God's name requires a new nature...a new heart...a new birth! Have you been born of the Spirit? If so, hallow God's name with your actions, thoughts, words and worship for God has saved you and raised you to life in Christ! If you've not been born of the Spirit, ask God to save you and place your complete faith in Jesus Christ.

Bible Verse

Galatians 2:20 - 'I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.'

Reflection Question

What specific actions can you take today to live a life that hallows God's name?

Prayer

Jesus, help me to live a life that hallows Your name. May my actions and obedience reflect Your holiness and love. Amen.
