Praying for the Unsaved

Writer: Dan NewburgDan Newburg

When we pray, 'Your kingdom come,' we are first praying for people to be saved. This prayer is a call to action, urging us to intercede for those who are still in darkness. God hears our prayers, including when we ask God to rescue rebels and bring them into His kingdom.

Bible Verse

John 3:16: 'For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.'

Reflection Question

Who are the specific people you can pray for today, asking God to rescue them from darkness and bring them into His light?

Prayer

Lord, I lift up those who are still in darkness. Use my prayers to bring them into Your kingdom. Please help me to be faithful in interceding for their salvation. Amen.
