The Grace of Forgiveness

God's forgiveness is given to the sinner who comes to Him in repentance as an act of grace, as an act of unmerited favor. This grace is not something we earn; it’s a gift. When we understand the depth of God’s grace, it becomes easier to extend forgiveness to others. Remember the parable of the unforgiving servant in Matthew 18:21-35? The servant was forgiven a massive debt but refused to forgive a smaller one. Let’s not be like that servant. Embrace the grace you’ve received and let it flow through you to others.

Bible Verse

'Be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving one another as God in Christ forgave you.' - Ephesians 4:32

Reflection Question

How can you better embrace and extend the grace of forgiveness in your daily interactions?

Prayer

Father, thank You for Your unmerited favor and grace. Help me to remember the forgiveness I’ve received and to extend that same grace to others. Amen.
