Worship as an Expression of Reverence

Worship is how we express devotion towards God. Worship is how we express reverence towards God. Worship is how we express adoration towards God.

The Christian is challenged to reflect regularly upon to where and to whom their devotion, reverence, and adoration are directed. Sometimes we become devoted to things that are less than God. Sometimes the things we adore most are less than God.

Who are what are you worshipping, brother or sister? Seek to remain focused on Christ, worshipping Him with a heart full of reverence and adoration, acknowledging His holiness in our worship.

Bible Verse

John 4:23 - 'But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him.'

How can you make your worship more focused on God's holiness and less on your own preferences or distractions?

Lord, help me to worship You in spirit and in truth. May my worship be a true reflection of my reverence and adoration for You. Amen.
